Dang. It’s on their posters and it’s appropriate. Dynamic duo Barbara K and Cindy Cashdollar rock the night away with lots of new songs from Barbara and hot steel licks from Cindy. Last night, fiddle player Richard Bowden added texture to several songs and Threadgill’s general manager Melanie Bounds joined the band for a rendition of Blaze Foley’s “If I Could Only Fly.”
Barbara K and Cindy Cashdollar will continue their Tuesday night residency at Threadgill’s North through June and their Wednesday nights at the Continental Club Gallery run through July. Both shows begin at 8pm.
