With her band (Will Sexton on guitars and Dave Terry on drums) BettySoo played an intimate house concert at the beautiful Hummingbird House in South Austin Saturday night.
The relaxed atmosphere and small audience kept the mood light as BettySoo performed songs from her most recent record, Heat Sin Water Skin as well as older favorites like “Secrets” and “Revival” from her Tiny Little Secrets. Between tunes she rambled about the mosquitoes, various YouTube videos (Solid Potato Salad by The Ross Sisters) and how she had been listening to pop radio recently and had decided that Lady Gaga was her musical arch-nemesis.
